I feel like it's good to start blog with small introduction.
My journey started far far way which almost sounds like a beginning of a fairy tale.
I grew up in Poland, where I was always a dedicated student with a passion for languages. I became fluent in Polish, English, and even picked up some German along the way.
Although I initially wanted to study languages in college, I didn't get into the public university I applied to. Undeterred, I found a private university offering a mix of English and German classes and decided to pursue a degree in International Relations. After earning my bachelor's degree, I continued my education at the University of Economics in Cracow, where I completed my master's.
During my studies, I started working in outsourcing, beginning in the Accounts Payable department. My skills in logical thinking, math, and foreign languages helped me thrive in this role, and I eventually transitioned to controlling and general ledger positions within large companies.
In 2013, my husband and I made the life-changing decision to move to Australia. We were eager for a fresh start, to enjoy the beautiful weather, and to build a new future. Soon after arriving, I completed my CPA and began working in public practice. I started in an administrative role, but as I gained more experience and completed my CPA, I transitioned into full-time accounting. I had the great fortune of working with Josie, an incredible mentor who trusted me and taught me everything I needed to know about Australian taxation. For nearly eight years, I learned under her guidance, developing a passion for bookkeeping and Xero. Helping small and medium-sized business owners became the highlight of my day.
Last year, I decided to take the leap and start my own business. With a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and my BAS agent registration in hand, I felt ready to face new challenges and opportunities. I'm excited for this next chapter and have many hopes and ideas for the future. I'm fortunate to be doing what I love and am passionate about. My personal motto is: "Work smarter, not harder."
I'm eager to see where this journey leads, and I plan to update this post in a few months to share my progress. Stay tuned for more updates on my business and helpful tips for fellow business owners!
